Vinsanto chocolate is a delicious "marriage" of Belgian chocolate and aged Santorini Vinsanto from Argyros Estate.
It is a venture of the fourth generation of winemakers of the Estate, Mr. Matthaios Argyros and the leading Austrian chocolatier Joseph Zotter. The handmade, organic and fair trade 60% Zotter dark chocolate, filled with a blend of 10% Vinsanto Silver and Roibos tea, stimulates the senses and surprises with its complexity and longevity.
Vinsanto of Ktima Argyros is one of the leading expressions of this rare sweet wine from Santorini, since it has been repeatedly awarded in international competitions and tastings, while it has won over the palates of discerning wine lovers almost all over the world.
For Yosef Zotter, it's enough to say that he's obsessed with organic and fair trade products. He has been awarded as the best foreign chocolatier at the Eurochocolat Award in Perugia, while for 2 years now he has received the rating "Excellent" from Greenpeace in the areas of ecology, ingredients, transport, packaging, non-use of genetically modified organisms, as well as social contribution.
The Argyrou Estate was founded in 1903. On the slopes of Episkopi is the largest part of the vineyard and the oldest roots of Assyrtikos with an average age of 150 years.
